From the very beginning, we knew we had characters that would truly resonate with audiences. Alison's Heartwarming Role in 'Christmas at Holly Lodge'
In Christmas at Holly Lodge, which airs on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 8/7c, Alison plays Sophie Bennett. Sophie is a woman who starts a new holiday tradition by spending every Christmas at the Evergreen Inn and Ski Lodge, a place she inherited from her parents. “I absolutely adore playing Sophie. She’s such a vibrant character, and in a way, she reminds me of Sami from Days of Our Lives. Can you imagine? If Sami ever found herself in a Hallmark movie, this is exactly who she’d be,” Alison laughed. “What really struck me about this role is the idea that Holly Lodge becomes a home for people who don’t have family to celebrate with during the holidays. They create their own Christmas traditions, and that’s such a beautiful concept. I was eager to bring it to life on screen.”
“This marks my first Christmas movie with Hallmark, and I wanted to make sure I honored what these films mean to so many people. For fans, Hallmark movies are a cherished part of their holiday traditions, and I felt a responsibility to live up to that,” Alison added.
