Hey there, friends! So, here's a laugh-worthy tale from none other than James Corden. Just days after James, who's 39 years old, and his gorgeous wife, Julia Carey, welcomed their third child into the world on December 12, the TV host revealed a pretty wild moment. He almost legally named their newborn daughter Beyoncé—yes, you heard that right! During an episode of The Late Late Show on December 14, James joked, "I looked at the doctor and I said, 'We’re going to call her Beyoncé.' My wife, however, did not find this amusing at all." It's clear that Julia has a good sense of humor, but she knows when to draw the line!

Delivery Room Drama: The Nurse Almost Made It Official

Now, here's where the story gets even funnier. James went on to explain that the delivery room nurse seemed to take his joke seriously. She reportedly started filling out the baby’s birth certificate with the name Beyoncé. "I had to quickly go over to her and say, 'Excuse me, there’s only one Beyoncé,'" James quipped. It seems like everyone in the delivery room got a good laugh out of it. But, truth be told, James and Julia haven’t settled on a name for their third child just yet. So, we’ll all have to wait with bated breath to see what they choose. The couple, who got married in 2012, already have two other kids: son Max, who's 6, and daughter Carey, who's 3.

News at the event, "I’m here with my wife, and she’s five months pregnant, so [I’m] mostly just thinking of places that I can hide snacks. That’s all I’m really doing—walking around thinking, 'Where can I hide snacks?' Because she’s going to get hungry every seven minutes. I will face the wrath if she’s not fed.
