But once she actually went through with the haircut, Ryder had quite the revelation. “Oh my God, we actually… It was the first time he could see that we looked alike, you know, that he looked like his mommy. But it was really cool,” she added. That’s a pretty amazing moment, and it highlights just how much of a cool mom Kate really is!
And speaking of relationships, we’re sure Ryder also approves of his mom’s new boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa! Last month, on their first-date anniversary, Kate gushed about Danny on Instagram. "The first time I met Danny, I was 23 and enormously pregnant with Ryder,” she reminisced. "A year ago today, Danny took me on a hike, and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date. No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move! And as a kiss on this bridge would have been nice, the kiss a year later was so much sweeter.
