This year, Kate donned the plum-colored coat, complete with black trim and a touch of sparkle, at a special Christmas party for the families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy. Her ensemble was perfectly accessorized with black tights, matching velvet pumps, and a stylish Mulberry clutch. Looking back, it’s fascinating to see how her style has evolved. While her signature pieces remain timeless, her personal style has undergone subtle yet significant changes. One of the most noticeable differences is her hair.
Back in 2014, Kate was rocking her signature long, brunette locks. Fast forward to this year, and she’s embraced a shorter hairstyle. Prince William’s stunning wife decided to chop off six inches of her hair earlier this year, resulting in what’s now affectionately known as the “Kob” or “Kate bob.” Not one to rest on her laurels, Kate went even shorter a few months later. She debuted this updated look at an event in London’s Paddington Station in the fall of 2017. Interestingly, this was also the second time she showcased her growing baby bump!

A Royal Family on the Move
Kate and Prince William, both 35, announced in September 2017 that they are expecting their third child. The couple later confirmed Kate’s due date is set for April 2018. Next spring promises to be a whirlwind for the royal family. Queen Elizabeth will celebrate her 92nd birthday on April 21, Kate and William will mark their seventh wedding anniversary on April 29, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to tie the knot in May 2018. It’s shaping up to be a season filled with royal milestones and celebrations.
