Sebastian Can’t Wait to Be a Big Brother
Lin and Vanessa already have a three-year-old son named Sebastian, and it seems like he’s beyond excited about the new addition to the family. When a fan congratulated Lin and asked him to pass along their well-wishes to Sebastian, Lin replied with a laugh, saying that Sebastian is so impatient for the baby to arrive. At one point, during a tantrum, Sebastian even cried out, “When is mommy gonna HAAAATCH…” Can you imagine how cute that must’ve been?
A Love Story That Inspires
Lin, 37, and Vanessa, who’s both a lawyer and scientist, tied the knot back in 2010 after dating for five years. Their relationship has been nothing short of inspiring. Recently, Twitter users were gushing over a video the couple posted together. Fans were blown away by their obvious affection for each other. One person wrote, “Y’all are honestly the cutest, love you guys so much. Always surprised by how amazing and generous you are,” while another commented, “Y’all are too stinking cute. I had a flashback to my 85-year-old grandfather looking at my grandmother the exact same way.” It’s clear that their love story resonates with many.

Lin’s Love Letter to Vanessa
Back when they first got married, Lin opened up to the New York Times about Vanessa, saying, “She knows she’s dope. She’s beautiful but not vain. She’s smart but not arrogant. It’s like, all killer, no filler.” Vanessa echoed those sentiments, sharing, “He gets me in a way that no one else does. I’m a scientist at heart. I try very hard not to let my emotions cloud my judgments, and he’ll see through that and see what I’m really feeling.” Isn’t that the kind of connection we all dream of?
In 2016, Lin, who calls himself a “theater nerd,” shared some wisdom for parents who might worry about their kids being a little unconventional. He advised, “Teach your kid to make their own way. To follow their interests, make their own path. I wrote my first Broadway musical, In the Heights, because I wanted a future in theater and I didn’t see a place for myself. So I wrote one.” With this new addition to the family, it’s safe to say congratulations are in order for the soon-to-be family of four!
