Mark Ballas, the pro dancer from Dancing With the Stars, had plenty to say about what makes their relationship tick. "Honestly, for us, it works. We enjoy working together, and we both respect each other so much. It's like this perfect balancing act for us," he said with a laugh. "Here's the thing—when we're apart, we actually argue more or bicker. But lucky for us, being together all the time, spending quality time, and creating music together—it’s absolutely amazing. It takes our relationship to a whole new level."

Not to be outdone, Mark’s lovely wife, BC Jean, chimed in with her take on their partnership. "We bring out the absolute best in each other," she said with a smile. "We really need each other because I’m great at one side of things, and Mark’s fantastic at the other. Together, we’re like this unstoppable team. Honestly, it’s pretty magical."

Love Beyond the Spotlight

While it's clear their professional relationship is thriving, Mark and BC are also navigating the ups and downs of marriage. Here's the kicker—they’re about to hit their one-year anniversary, but guess what? They haven’t even had a honeymoon yet! Instead, they'll be on tour with Lindsey Stirling when their special day rolls around. "We’ll definitely find a way to celebrate," Mark shared. "Maybe we’ll go out for a nice dinner and exchange gifts. It might not be on the exact day, but we’ll carve out a night to do something special. I can’t believe it’s already been a year! We’re literally just a couple of weeks away. It feels like yesterday we were stressing out about everything, planning our wedding while I was playing Frankie Valley in Jersey Boys on Broadway. We were commuting back and forth between NYC and LA. It was stressful, but so exciting. Time flies, doesn’t it?"

When it comes to honeymoon plans, BC admits they haven’t nailed anything down yet. "By the end of the day, we’re both so exhausted that we’re like, 'We should really talk about this,' and then we’re like, 'Let’s talk about it later,'" she laughed. "After the tour, we’d love to take a little break, see our family, and hopefully squeeze in a honeymoon if we can get it together. Then we’ll dive right back into working on EP No. 3."

The Future: Baby Plans?

And just when you think their story couldn’t get any sweeter, BC revealed they’re dreaming of starting a family. "We talk about having a baby all the time," she quipped. "We both have serious baby fever, but right now, we’re in such a grind. We’re practicing not making a baby, but we definitely talk about it. A lot!"
