In an exclusive chat with Closer Weekly, Tanya Zuckerbrot broke down exactly what makes this diet so effective. “The foundation of F-Factor is simple: four meals a day—breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack,” she explained. “Each meal combines fiber and protein to keep you full and energized throughout the day. It’s not just about cutting calories; it’s about teaching your body how to function optimally.” She emphasized the importance of maintaining muscle mass, which is crucial for keeping your metabolism humming along. “If you lose muscle, your metabolism slows down, and eventually, you won’t be able to enjoy carbs without gaining weight. Alcohol on the F-Factor Diet
One of the biggest draws of the F-Factor diet is that it doesn’t require you to eliminate alcohol entirely. “Red and white wine typically contain between one and three grams of carbs per glass, sometimes up to four if it’s a sweeter variety,” Tanya said. “Our clients can enjoy one to four glasses of wine per night, or one to four ounces of spirits, as long as they’re mindful of sugary mixers and tonics.” She added that some clients actually end up drinking less because they skip the sugary mixers. “Without the sweetness diluting the flavor, alcohol tastes stronger, so people naturally sip more slowly. Two strong drinks might do the job of four sugary cocktails!”
