Season 25 of Dancing With the Stars has taken the stage, and fans are more engaged than ever! As the show heats up, viewers can’t help but ask some burning questions. Questions like, “Where exactly is Bruno Tonioli from?” and “How long has this iconic show been entertaining us?” Let’s break it down and get to the bottom of these inquiries and more.
So, Where Is Bruno Tonioli Really From?
Let’s rewind to a moment during the show where Shark Tank star Barbara Corcoran dazzled the audience with her tango, partnered with Keo Motsepe. After the dance, Barbara stood confidently in front of the esteemed judges—Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman, and Carrie Ann Inaba. With Bruno's charming accent making waves, Barbara couldn’t resist asking, “I’m just wondering, where are you from?” Bruno, ever the charmer, quipped, “I have no idea, some people say I’m from Mars!” But the truth is far more fascinating. The 61-year-old TV sensation hails from Ferrara, Italy. Born in November 1955, Bruno embarked on his dancing career early, working in Paris and the UK before making waves in LA. Not only is he an American dancer, choreographer, and TV personality, but he’s also fluent in five languages—Italian, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French! That’s quite the impressive résumé.

How Long Has DWTS Been Entertaining Us?
Dancing With the Stars has been lighting up our screens for an impressive 12 years! The first season premiered on June 1, 2005, and since then, it’s aired twice a year on ABC. Season 25, the current season, kicked off on Monday, September 18, and the show has already been renewed for a 26th season. With its captivating performances and heart-pounding competition, DWTS has become a household name. Let’s hope it continues to dazzle audiences for years to come!
Is Vanessa Lachey Expecting Again?
As far as we know, Vanessa isn’t expecting just yet. But she and her husband, fellow DWTS competitor Nick Lachey, have their hands full with their three adorable children. The couple, who tied the knot in July 2011, have a son named Camden, born in September 2012, a daughter named Brooklyn, born in January 2015, and another son, Phoenix, born in December 2016. So, does this celebrity duo plan on expanding their family? Nick shared with People earlier this year, “Short of a surgical procedure, I guess it’s always an option, but I’ve given up on trying to predict these things. Apparently, there’s a way to make babies, and we’re fairly good at it, so you never know. But right now, three feels like a very good number.”
Is Keo Motsepe Truly a Prince?
Absolutely! The 27-year-old professional dancer confirmed his royal status in a 2015 interview with Us Weekly. “I’m a prince of a region in Johannesburg, South Africa,” Keo revealed. How incredible is that? He elaborated on his royal lineage during a 2016 NPR interview. “I am a prince, yes sir, from my dad’s side. My grandpa was a prince of a province back in South Africa. My dad declined the position and gave it to my uncle, his younger brother. But because I’m my dad’s only son, I became a prince,” Keo explained. So, what exactly does being a prince entail for Keo? “There’s a responsibility to look after the area they’re from, they talk to the community, and the community talks to my uncle about fixing the street here, the buildings there,” he added. It’s fascinating to see how his royal duties blend with his life as a professional dancer!
