Hey there! It looks like things are finally turning around for Kate Middleton. During a recent royal visit to Liverpool, England, on Thursday, September 14, her husband, Prince William, gave fans a much-needed update on her health. Kate, who’s expecting her third child, has been battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness that’s been affecting her throughout this pregnancy. But don’t worry—William shared some good news with everyone!
Prince William, looking as dapper as ever at 35 years old, spoke with cancer patient Pagan Tordengrav during their visit to Aintree University Hospital. According to the Liverpool Echo, William shared, “She’s very well, thanks. Prince George started school, so it’s been an interesting week.” Kate, also 35, and William already have two beautiful children: Prince George, who’s 4, and Princess Charlotte, who’s 2. Just a week before, on Monday, September 4, they announced the exciting news that they’re expecting baby number three.
Back on September 4, Kensington Palace released a statement saying, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.” The statement also mentioned that, as with her previous two pregnancies, Kate is dealing with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but she’s being well cared for at Kensington Palace.

Unfortunately, Kate wasn’t able to join Prince George on his first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea in London on Thursday, September 7, due to her condition. Kensington Palace had previously shared that they’re thrilled with the school choice, confident that George will have a fantastic start to his education. The prestigious school, costing about $8,300 per term, has around 544 day pupils aged between four and 13. Interestingly, one of George’s royal relatives, Maud Windsor, also attends the school.

According to Life & Style, Kate has always dreamed of having a third child and seems to be indulging in some spicy food and candy cravings during this pregnancy. A royal insider shared, “Kate has talked to Queen Elizabeth about her motherhood plans, and she’s been incredibly supportive. Her Majesty is just thrilled that Kate has become such a shining star for the royal family. After all the scandals in the past, the Queen is genuinely glad that Kate has brought stability to the family.” We can’t wait to meet Kate and William’s newest bundle of joy, expected to arrive in March 2018!
