Hold on to your hats, folks! In a candid interview, Ivana Trump opened up about her belief that her ex-husband, Donald Trump, owes a big part of his presidency to their daughter, Ivanka Trump. “I think Ivanka played a massive role in Donald’s success. When voters looked at her, they saw someone they liked and trusted. She loves her father so much, and that made people think, ‘He can’t be all bad.’ Who knows? Maybe one day, she’ll become the first female—and Jewish—President of the United States,” the 68-year-old shared with Time magazine. This revelation adds a new layer to the family dynamics that have shaped modern politics.
Ivanka's Role in the Trump Administration
At just 36 years old, Ivanka has carved out a significant role within her father’s administration. When Donald Trump was elected in November 2016, Ivanka stepped back from her position as executive vice president of The Trump Organization to take on a new challenge: serving as Senior Advisor to the President. As a mom of three—Arabella, 6, Joseph, 4, and Theodore, 1—she juggles her responsibilities with grace alongside her husband, Jared Kushner, who also serves as a senior White House advisor. Ivanka’s presence in the White House has been nothing short of impactful, shaping policies and initiatives that reflect her values and vision.

Ivana Trump Talks About Her Relationship with Melania Trump
During the promotion of her new memoir, Raising Trump, Ivana Trump also touched on her relationship with the current First Lady, Melania Trump. In a light-hearted moment on Good Morning America, Ivana joked that she might be “the real First Lady.” Despite this playful jab, Ivana admitted she has a direct line to Donald at the White House but hesitates to use it frequently. “I don’t really want to call him there because Melania is there,” she explained. “And I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically the first Trump wife. I was the first lady in every sense of the word.”
Melania Trump’s press secretary quickly responded to Ivana’s comments, defending the First Lady’s role and contributions. “Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for her son, Barron Trump, and The President. She loves living in Washington, DC and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books. There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex. Unfortunately, it’s just attention-seeking and self-serving noise,” the press secretary stated.
